The Amazon Video team seeks a digital content licensing manager within the Digital Video Store. This individual will play a critical role in the growth of the Amazon Digital Video Store, including leading licensing negotiations with major movie and TV studios for output deals for transacted content.
Key responsibilities include:
* Negotiating directly with studios, networks, and independent production companies for a wide range of terms and content rights
* Developing and documenting a content acquisition plan with a focus on identifying new titles and genres to add to the Amazon Digital Video Store
* Analyzing performance results to drive improvements in acquisition strategy
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* 7 years of experienced in a high volume account management, business development, licensing, or finance role.
* Proven ability to analyze complex license or business development agreements in high pressure environments
* A track record of excellence in a similar role
* Excellent written communication and organizational skills
* Excellent data analysis and quantitative skills
* Ability to adapt to a quickly changing, fast-paced environment
* Proven negotiation experience (end to end strategy development to execution)
Preferred Qualifications
* MBA a plus
* Content licensing and/or business development experience, preferably within the entertainment industry
* Knowledge of digital video landscape, including working understanding of digital video distribution technologies
* Strong interest and knowledge about movies & TV -
