About me
I am new to the business but am passionate about building a career in this industry. My main area of interest is set design and props. I am a qualified Landscape Designer and can design to scale and make scaled models. I also run my own business selling vintage/new furniture, lighting, home and garden goods. I love sourcing interesting unusual items with character and changing the look of furniture with paint and new ironmongery etc. I have always loved the hands-on approach to creating and don't mind getting messy! I have volunteered at a local youth theatre for the last few years, sourcing and customising props, helping with the set and being in charge of the make-up department.Additional skills:
I am adapt at developing a brief with a client and building that relationship . Working with tradespeople to achieve the best possible results. Sourcing materials and dealing with unexpected difficulties and restrictions due to site variables and stock availability. Sourcing stock and buying wholesale. Customising, painting, restoring furniture.
