Iwan Rheon

"I'm a singer songwriter from Cardiff, South Wales now living in London. Music is our greatest invention. I also play in a band called The Convictions. I can't really describe myself but I think my main influences, maybe not so reflected in the tunes, must be the likes of Radiohead, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley and lately Ray Lamontagne and Stephen Fretwell"

Sure, Iwan Rheon may be best known for his acting career, playing Simon in the smash TV show 'Misfits', but he’s been writing and performing music since the age of 16.

'Changing Times' is Iwan’s 2nd EP and sees him return to the legendary RAK Studios to record with a three-piece band, in a departure from his first acoustic set the 'Tongue Tied EP' released in June 2010. The same exquisite vocals and lyrics are in evidence, but added instrumentation and production has taken his music to the next level, as the title track testifies.

The much-anticipated Series 3 of Misfits will air in on E4 in the UK on September 30th and follow on Hulu in the US, where the show has gained immediate cult status.

Its an exciting time for Iwan – new music, Misfits 3 and two film releases before the end of the year – 'Resistance', starring alongside Michael Sheen and 'Wild Bill', Dexter Fletcher’s directorial debut.
