Hollywood Ending is a pop-rock band formed in Summer 2011. The band consists of Tyler Wilson (Lead Vocals), Cameron Byrd (Lead Vocals/Guitar/Piano), Dan Geraghty (Vocals/Lead Guitar), and Chris Bourne (Vocals/Bass), all 18-21 years old. Hailing from all different parts of America and even the U.K., these boys met on Skype and came together with a shared dream of becoming big in the music industry. They got their start on Season 4 of Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing competition finishing in 3rd place. Since then they have appeared on many tours in the United States, Canada, and Europe opening for artists like The Janoskians, Austin Mahone, R5, Allstar Weekend, and many more. In Summer of 2012 they did their first headlining tour selling out shows across the US and Canada.
About a year ago they independently released their debut EP “Always 18″, without any promotion from a record label. The band followed Big Time Rush on their tour in a van across the whole United States, passing out promo cards and playing acoustic outside after every concert, to self-promote the release of their album. In result, it ended up charting at #11 on the iTunes Pop Charts as well as getting on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The band has also amassed over 70,000 subscribers and over 5,000,000 views on their YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/HollywoodEndingBand) from doing acoustic covers of popular songs, original music videos and just videos of them hanging out, all solely from word of mouth spread on social media websites and at concerts. A few months back they were featured as the biggest New York City radio station Z100’s web celeb of the week, for their YouTube cover of Justin Bieber’s “Beauty and a Beat” which has 1,500,000 views and counting. On top of that they’ve been featured on numerous Ryan Seacrest cover contests, and countless website and blog posts.
The band have just finished an incredible tour of Japan which saw them playing festivals/headlining shows after releasing their EP “Always 18″ overseas there. On top of that they have just announced a full United States/Canadian headlining tour in February and March 2014. But most of all they are buckling down on making their first full length release, completely writing/producing/recording the new songs all by themselves. You can expect great things to come from these boys. They’re just getting started!
