About me
I am no longer afraid to pursue what I really love, and that's performing and acting. For years, I've been holding on to a fear.
A fear of what others would think.
A fear of failure.
A fear of not being any good.
A fear of how was I going to make a decent living.
Throughout high school, the only classes that I really excelled at and that I truly enjoyed were Drama, English and Music. These classes really spoke to me and filled me with immense joy and escape.
I have always been surrounded by creative people, my father was a musician and a Musical Director for an orchestra. All my friends were breakdancers, singers, musicians, and martial artists. As a child, I also played the piano, flute, saxophone and violin. I loved belonging to that community.
I thought about studying acting in college, but was to afraid and thought it'd be easier to follow a more traditional route.
I pursued a 3 year degree in Health/Fitness and Exercise Science.
What I truly enjoyed during my college years however, were my "elective" classes which all revolved around the subject of cinema. Film studies, Cinematic History, Script writing, Media Entertainment, History of Television, etc.
It reminded me of the passion I had in English and Drama classes in high school.
Upon entering the work force, I got busy working hard, paying my dues, earning a living, but not necessarily happy. I've always felt that I was chasing someone else's dream and not carving out my own path.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic has hit the world, I'm reminded again that life is very short and can never be taken for granted. I'm devoting myself to the craft of acting and pursuing what I love.
I've been doing BG work since 2017 and would like to continue doing this while also moving forward with commercials, TV roles and eventually movie roles.
I'm not doing this to chase fame or fortune. I'm looking to fill the void in my heart that I've neglected for many years, let go of all my fears, continue perfecting a craft and give it my very best.
