About me

Jill Amantea is a professional dancer, actress, and choreographer originally from Rossland, B.C. and now based in Toronto, ON. Her professional experience includes performing nationally and internationally for various live events, music videos, commercials, promotional shoots, virtual projects, and stage productions.

Performance credits include: Disney Cruise Line, Club Med Resorts, Canada's Wonderland, TDC Entertainment, MM Entertainment, Edllusion Entertainment, Bravo's Dance Company, Hit and Run Dance Productions, Virtual Venue Theatricals, Dance : Corps Company, The Gold Fever Follies, and Stephanie Ballard & Dancers.

Recent projects include: commercials for Bell Media, Destination Toronto, Night Owl Security, Team Shane, Ntry GTA, Worksport Ltd, Thumper Massager, Superstars Realty, Sorrento Retirement Residence & Caforia, promotional stills and video for Showcase, Key West Video, West Egg Security & Getty Images, TikTok commercials for Wazo Furniture, Mafia World, PUBG Mobile, Webull, Family Farm Adventure, Mythic Heroes, and Puzzles & Survival, Music Videos for Ranjit Bawa, Ginda Randhawa, Babak Amini & Mehran Aminian, Niloufar Azar, Chris Sunfield, Hamed Monavari, and Ryan Yango. Jill was fortunate to be the assistant choreographer for several virtual productions including: VVT's the Wizard of Oz, A Killer Party, VVT Christmas Spectacular, My Favorite Podcast: the unofficial My Favorite Murder Musical, & Peace, Love & Cupcakes. She was part of the choreographic team for Club Med Punta Cana and the lead choreographer and show rehearsal director for Club Med Ixtapa Pacific.

Jill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in dance from the University of Winnipeg in affiliation with the School of Contemporary Dancers. Having the opportunity to work with many world-renowned choreographers including: Darryl Tracy, Susie Burpee, Paul Andre-Fortier, Bill Evans, Paula Blair, Casmiro Nhussi, Davida Monk, Connie Cooke, Odette Heyn, and Gaile Petursson-Hiley, Jill has also trained at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Cecchetti International Ballet Summer Course / Alberta Ballet, Salzburg International Ballet Academy, and Kootenay DanceWorks.

When she’s not performing, she enjoys traveling, cooking, learning new languages, and sharing her passion for performing with the next generation of dancers as a private coach, dance instructor and choreographer for Get Low Dance Co, Virtual Venue Theatricals, Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre, Rossland Recreation, and Kootenay DanceWorks.
