About me
Hailing from the farmlands in Saxony, Kody Poisson (actor and writer) is a German/Canadian poet who was classically trained at both East 15 Acting School and York University for Creative Writing and Theatre. For him, acting never seemed to be a conceivable profession, something always seemed suspect about pursuing a life in the arts; but after some mishaps and tragedies, he finally sought refuge in the prospect of being an artist inculcated by the likes of Alain C. Peterson and Kristin Linklater. A great appetite for creating soon followed: whether it was working on a feature film as a drug-addled Bostonian, a music video as a country boy, or a hendecasyllabic poem as a commissioned piece, he has done it all. A distinguished recipient of The Explore and Create (CCA) and Stratford Seminar Society grants, he is currently drafting a new stage play and a feature film entitled The Pearl of Eurasia.License & Passport
