About me

My name is Marissa Rasmussen (she/her), and to impress you right off the bat with a personal fact, I can talk with my mouth closed! I am an emerging actor, playwright and director, a 2021 graduate of The University of Windsor BFA Program ready to dive into the industry. My training in Windsor has left me with a wealth of experience and love for ensemble work, devising and creating from scratch, tools that I am excited to start applying to my professional practice. I have been in and created more pieces than I can count and the development process is truly the love of my life. I love creating any character, telling an experience through their eyes. I am a storyteller and that is what I plan to do with my entire life. I have big plans for myself which include film and television and the stage and would love to find a partner to be apart of it with me.
