About me

An excellent acting coach in a class on personalization once told me that it takes at least three of the following four "t"s to succeed: tenacity, talent, training and timing.
Tenacity : I have been acting in theatre since l was around ten years old and in film since not long after that, including a film directed by John Candy. Since that time, I have quite literally been involved at all times without exception in some aspect of a theatre or film production: I have never stopped. Modeling has been building only in the last decade; it started out as a side job, then it provided me with access to regular head shots and finally it has become a passion in itself as photographers are increasingly interested in collaborating. I have no intention of stopping either of these activities, ever.
Talent : I have always been a consummate professional. From 1994 following dance steps to the letter all the way to 2016 holding a pose while the lights get tweaked so as not to lose that moment! I give myself fully to each role. I research, practice and challenge myself with my roles throughout my day. I then release that development in order to allow it to settle as the bedrock of the character upon which it becomes possible to live a dramatic experience truthfully. And the reviews have been excellent.
Training : I have completed many studies and training programs in acting and modeling, within which l would include some years of law school and legal work! But Film Studies, Dustin Hoffman's master class, an 8 year long practicum youth group, an in person course and subsequent collaboration with Australian Film Director Kim Farrant and much more. I won the Drama Award as well as the Going on in Arts Award in High School, an Excellence in Song and Dance award with a teen chorus, multiple audience choice awards for short films and the Grand Prize of $10,000 for a project in 2016.

My essence is seriousness and full respect of the reality of a situation whether it be a Rain Man scenario, some Star Trek techno babble or random fractions of Naked Gun smashiness.
