About me
Kris Langford is a stage and screen actor, filmmaker and former ballet dancer. In February of 2021, Kris completed postproduction on his first short film Heartache, which he wrote, directed and produced. Heartache is now in the submission phase for the 2021 film festival season.As an actor Kris’s most recent credits include the feature film Parts of Me (currently in postproduction) and the web series Make Karen Great Again. Prior to theaters going dark due to the COVID 19 pandemic, Kris was a prolific theater actor, having been cast as Weaver/Scofield in Guelph Little Theaters production of The Man Who Shot Chance Delaney as well as Rollie Waters in the Cambridge Players production of Norm Fosters Skin Flick. Kris has also been tapped to direct the one act play Wildfires by local playwright Jen Weatherall for the Ennotville theater festival.
Kris studied ballet at the Academy Ballet Classique, under former Niagara Ballet’s Michele Hopkins. Theater study comes by way of The Second City Toronto and The Acting Center in Guelph. He has completed intensive study in Shakespeare at the Stratford Theater and stage combat training at Rapier Wit in Toronto. Kris is also co-host/co-creator of the popular film podcast How’d You Like That Movie.
