Green Umbrella Limited was founded 16 years ago by Peter Jones and Nigel Ashcroft to produce distinctive factual television programmes for the worldwide market.

Green Umbrella quickly gained a reputation for spectacular and memorable Natural History programmes produced for broadcasters such as the BBC, National Geographic, The Discovery Channel and America's PBS network.
