About me
I'm a writer and improv performer who is passionate about the art of storytelling. After graduating from McGill University with a Bachelor's Degree in Cultural Studies and Communications, I moved back to my hometown of Toronto and decided to pursue a film career. In the past three years, I have written, directed, and produced two 10-minute short films, as well as interning with award-winning filmmaker Daniel Roher (Robbie Robertson: Testimony) at his documentary house Loud Roar Productions.During this time, I've tried to say "yes" to as many new film-related opportunities as possible. I've now worked as a production assistant, script reader, concert videographer, freelance editor, online film critic, film festival programmer, TIFF volunteer, educational film sales agent, and movie trivia writer, just to name a few. I've also earned an assistant editor credit on a CSA-nominated documentary, "Sourtoe: The Story of The Sorry Cannibal," and co-developed a short documentary with director Daniel Roher.
Through these experiences, I've learned that I'm a writer at heart, and that my strongest passion lies in telling stories through the art of screenwriting. My journey has led me to the world of television writing, where I am currently seeking a full-time position as a junior staff writer, story coordinator, or writer's assistant. I've spent close to two years building both a strong portfolio of television scripts, and a network of top Canadian writers and producers who have enthusiastically praised my talent, professionalism, and drive. I am currently developing an original half-hour comedy series and an 11 x 52 series for the 6-11 demographic, while in discussion with a major Canadian broadcaster on a development deal for the latter.
I hope we can be in touch!
