After travelling to her fiancés house to meet his parents for Christmas, Alice (Alicia Witt) falls in love with his family, only to discover that she wound up in the wrong house admiring stories of someone else’s son. While Alice basks in holiday cheer with this family that she believes are her future in-laws, Alice meets Matt (Mark Wiebe), her fiancé’s supposed brother. As she gets to know Matt better, Alice begins to question what she knows about fate, passion, and true love.
