This romantic comedy tells the story of two strangers who accidentally meet on New Year's Eve and share a random conversation that would change their lives forever.

Right before the 2020 countdown, Brian looks back at his entire year and although it included many unfortunate events, he seems to be happy about it. Throughout the evening, he encounters Angie whose year is kicking off with an unpleasant start, and she seems to be annoyed by Brian's cheering mood. The two strangers start having an awkward small talk, when Brian gets a phone call and departs in a rush, leaving behind a memento. Left alone, Angie doesn't have a choice but to look into Brian's little secret behind his positive attitude.
