A Film about the early-onset of Alzheimer's
Market Trip: Excerpt From 'My Bare Hands' is a scene which revolves around a young man and his Father (who has early-onset Alzheimer's disease) who are shopping at a Shop Rite grocery store when they become separated. The fluorescent lights overhead, the wide aisles, white cosmetic floors, and the PA system overhead, all remind the Father of his years of working as a surgeon in a hospital. His dementia kicks in and he believes he is back in the hospital where he worked as a surgeon; nurses and patients are in the aisle, and he is called over the PA system to the operating room. The film's viewers will experience early-onset Alzheimer's disease through his perspective.
