Medievangelical” is a short dramatic hybrid-fiction film about the subjugation of women in the modern evangelical sphere.

Ruth is a young woman who’s physical appearance is being exploited by her father. She is looking for a way out of the imposed role of recruiter at his stifling evangelical church. Claire, the church’s youth pastor, is ready to come out of the closet. She is hoping to not only be accepted in her particular place of worship, but also to reconcile her faith with the modern world. In a movie theatre turned pop-up evangelical church, Ruth and Claire will push back against a man who sacrifices young women for the benefit of the faithful.
