Weeknight Downers is about friendship, but also boredom; about liking someone, but also finding them annoying. It’s about those nights where you’re out with your friends, but everybody knows it’s not going to be a night you’ll be talking about for years to come; it's almost like going through the motions of it all out of some sense of obligation. You'll just be having a regular night out; more fun than doing nothing at home, but not by much. It’s one of those nights you might forget happened, but not in that good way. Or one of those nights that blurs into the collective-clump that form the mundane core of any close friendships.
