Writing help
First let me tell you that I am not a writer but I have been in the film business for 20 years.
I have had a story kicking around in my head for about as long. I just wasn’t sure how to get it out, so I just started to write down what I wanted to say. Recently I was researching how to tell a story. I decided to model it after Joseph Campbell’s formula.
I got a free script writing program. Wow that made writing easier.
So I’ve made a bigger story around actual historical facts and events. It’s about 40 script pages long.
I guess I’m asking what’s next?
Is there a publishing place or proof reader?
How do I protect my story if I’m sending it out there?
