A retrospective take on Mary Shelley's classic novel 'Frankenstein', the story follows Griffin as they are suddenly taken from their eternal sleep and propelled into the world of the living. With guidance from their creator, Griffin must find out how to act human, and learn to have a family; but only to his creator Victor's standards. With each new task, Griffin grows more and more strained with their infantile treatment. Will Griffin be able to forge the strong bond Victor wants? Or will their turmoil be too much to keep inside?This will be a short, silent film (around 4 minutes) for my second-semester final at Humber College. As it is a silent film, there will be no dialogue, but some yelling is required, so expressive actors are encouraged. There also will potentially be a small flame or fire on set, so make sure you're comfortable working around that. Thank you for taking the time to be interested in this project read my casting call!
