We are looking for a bright, energetic, and creative Associate Producer/Technician to join our team. You will produce content for, and will be the technical operator of Saskatoon Morning, our Saskatoon-based radio morning show. The successful candidate will be skilled at creating content for multiple platforms, and demonstrate exceptional skills in verbal and written communication, as well as story generation. Ideally, you are web savvy, with a proven track record of mixing sound and voice. Additionally, we are looking for people who are skilled in gathering video/audio as well as writing and publishing local stories on a wide range of news and current affairs topics.You will play an integral role with a focus on three priorities:Content: In this role, you will ensure that all CBC journalistic standards are met and that our stories are fair, balanced, accurate, thoughtful, immediate and resonate with the communities we serve. You will further our original, enterprise and investigative storytelling and ensure we are talking about what matters most to people throughout the province. You’re innovative and will try new things, new workflows and new story treatments.
