Hello!



My name is James Ernest, a playwright and producer of a new play called Oct.O.Pus.

It is a play that looks deeply at the struggles of a working class society and the issues they are currently facing. 



Oct.O.Pus will be premiered on the 28th and 29th June at The Kings Arms in Salford. The event will be an Industry Showcase where industry professionals come along and see if they are interested in taking the project further. We already have a confirmed number of theatres as well as some well established theatre companies and producers attending. 



I am currently looking for a talented and thoroughly committed actress to play the role of Nan, a loud and brash northern lady that isn’t afraid to say what’s on her mind. The actress has to be comfortable with swearing on stage. 



Actress NEEDS TO BE 



40+

Caucasian 

Northern/able to do a northern accent

Manchester/greater Manchester based. 



Auditions will be held on the 11th April between 5-9pm



The position is currently unpaid but will be a part of a profit share. We are however looking to transfer the production to a theatre in Manchester for a long run then on a tour around England which will be paid. 



You will be needed on the 27th, 28th and 29th June for the tech and 3 Performances.
