As the Head of Creative of the Comedy Central Digital Writers Room, this person will lead a team of writer/performers to create digital video content that is on brand for the network. This person will work with Development, Social Strategy and Production to ideate, write, perform and produce content for social platforms, including, but not limited to YouTube, Facebook, cc.com.Primary responsibilities include:
Oversee management of the Writers Room

Write and perform sketches for emerging platforms to support network goals

Partner with other departments in developing new ways to present content

Present creative direction and pitch new concepts to management

Monitor creative schedule to make sure team is on track

Facilitate creative brainstorms with other departments as needed

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of writing experience with a focus on the digital sphere

Experience with both originally concepted content and branded/integrated formats 
Additional Qualifications
Proven track record of managing a team 
Working inside knowledge of Writers Room atmosphere 
Strong leadership, organizational and collaboration skills
A deep interest in pop culture, comedy, news and the ways all three intersect
An innovative thinker who can quickly deliver a wide variety of high-quality content
