We are looking for TWO FEMALE ACTORS, aged 23-30 for a short drama, SNATCH, written by an award winning writer/director, and to be filmed by an experienced crew.LOGLINE: Two women are holed up in a garage; a captor, and her prisoner- but this is no ordinary ransom. Over the course of two days, the women test each other's metal in a tense battle of wills- how far is each willing to go, to bring about change?The project is a two-hander, with meaty parts for both roles, and broad space to showcase the actors' talents. The writer/directer is particularly focussed on female-driven stories; aiming to depict complex characters, and high quality on-screen narrativesIt will be a one/ max two-day shoot, in late March, or the first week of April, the exact date TBC. We will be shooting in Southend on Sea, which is a short distance form London. The project is expenses only, due to its low-budget nature, but all travel expenses, and food will be provided.This is a passion project- all of those involved have a great breadth of experience within the film industry, but are coming together to tell a story that excites us, with the view to releasing it on to the festival circuit.If this sounds of interest, please get in touch- we'd love to hear from you!
