About me
As a graduate of Fanshawe's Costume Production program, I have a wide variety of practical sewing skills and technical knowledge, in addition to strong creative problem-solving and an eye for fine detail. I am proficient at both machine and hand sewing, have experience working in fittings and garment alterations, and am adept at dyeing and surface textile work. Accessories such as masks and headdresses are a speciality of mine, largely due to my undergraduate focus on wearable sculpture at OCAD. I am able to switch between costuming and prop work with ease, and hope this will allow me to experience a wide variety of work environments. I also have a passion for design that I intend to pursue as a long term goal within the industry.Additional skills:
Machine (industrial & domestic) and hand sewing
Pattern drafting
Garment alterations
Millinery and other accessories
