Britain's Got Talent is a British television show on ITV and part of the Got Talent series.

The flagship series of the global Got Talent television franchise, Britain's Got Talent (often abbreviated to BGT) premiered in 2007 and his since spawned over 13 seasons. The series is presented by Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly (colloquially known as Ant & Dec), with the sister series Britain's Got More Talent presented by Stephen Mulhern. It is produced by both Thames (formerly Talkback Thames) and Syco Entertainment, distributed by Fremantle.

A variety of eclectic acts audition in front of a live audience, at various venues across the UK, including singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and much more. Acts progress through several rounds, with the winner being announced at the finale show: the prizes include £250,000 and a slot to perform at The Royal Variety Performance.

Auditionees seek to impress a panel of judges, which throughout the years has consisted of Simon Cowell (the creator of the Got Talent franchise), Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and David Walliams, Michael McIntyre, David Hasselhoff and Carmen Electra. Notable winners and finalists have included: Paul Potts, George Sampson, Diversity, Ashleigh and Pudsey, Lee Ridley, Susan Boyle and Stavros Flatley.
