About me
I've always enjoyed performing and my enthusiasm and willingness to fully immerse myself in anything that comes my way has led to many leading roles in amateur theatre productions (listed below). Most recently I appeared in a professional theatre production "Hansel & Gretel" and a year ago in "Alice in Winterland" at the Rose Theatre Kingston, where I played a courtier and the Bandersnatch Head and Vocal, which involved learning puppetry skills. I have also more recently taken part in a Rose Theatre adaptation of George Orwell's "1984" and a play called "The Creature". I will be appearing in "The Snow Queenl" at the Rose Theatre this Christmas.My one piece of professional film work in 2014 "Escape" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DA7eTdueRew) came through recommendation. I also enjoy presenting and was awarded a distinction for my GCSE English presentation piece. I also played the lead role in a short "Left Behind" by B.B. Films which can be viewed on You Tube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gSuiKsDQqI).
Lead roles as follows: Caractacus Potts in "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"; Orpheus in "Orpheus and the Underworld"; Mad Hatter in "Alice in Wonderland"; Lysander in "Midsummer Night's Dream" (twice); Mercutio in "Romeo and Juliet"; Bugsy in "Bugsy Malone", Chad in "High School Musical".
Additional skills:
Achieved Grade 3 Guitar at Junior School and have continued to play for the love of it for 8 years now. I am also in the process of teaching myself piano. Member of a band and regularly busk in Kingston (link to singing video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=182eY1jGcnY). Distinction in Grade 3 Trinity Drama exam when I was 9. Richmond Borough Youth Parliament representative and part of school's Student Voice.
Additional information:
Member of National Youth Theatre and Rose Youth Theatre. In school I was part of School Choir, Drama Club and Musical Theatre Group. Member of the Souwest Gang Show performing in their annual variety show for five years. Young Leader of Cubs with first aid and survival skills and lots of camping experience! Recently returned from an enrichment trip to Cambodia in July 2018.
