About me
I am a mixed race, (White and Chinese) young Actress based in London. As the Daughter of a Choreographer and a former Model, I have been exposed to theatre, film and television from birth.I am Grade 8 in both Drama and Ballet and I am currently in Advanced Ballet with the RAD.
I made my Professional theatre debut at the age of 8 in the ensemble of 'The Wizard of Oz', at the Theatre Royal St. Helens (after auditioning whilst visiting my Grandmother) and I appeared in several shows in local theatres in Surrey for my Ballet and Musical Theatre schools.
At the age of 12, I successfully auditioned to be in the Young Company of the Rose Theatre in Kingston and my roles whilst a member of the Junior company were Titania in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. Maria in 'Twelfth Night', Fern in 'Charlotte's Web', Bets/Mrs Bumble in 'Oliver Twist', Lady Dashwood in 'Black Beauty' and Tom in 'Treasure Island'. I was due to play the central role of Telemachus a new stage adaptation of 'The Odyssey' which sadly had to be postponed due to the 2020 national lockdown. On moving up to the Lower Senior Company, I played the role of Jan in a radio/audio version (online), of 'DNA' by Dennis Kelly during lockdown and when we returned to live theatre, I played the title role of Macbeth in a an all female production of 'Macbeth'. In my first play with the Upper Senior company, I played the role of Fiz, in Jack Thorne's 'Junkyard', followed by 'The Great Gatsby', in which I played Daisy Buchanan. This Summer I played Hermia in the RYC's outdoor production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' and I was honoured to assist the Director on 'Much Ado About Nothing'.
In Music I am Grade 8 in Piano with the ABRSM and I was awarded a Scholarship in Music to the High School I attend. As part of my scholarship I also studied Guitar - in which I am Grade 3.
In the lower school I was a member of the Choir, the Orchestra, a Principal in the school's 'Elite Dance Company' and the Drama Company - with whom I played the role of Michael Hobbs in 'Elf'. (It's an all Girls Arts status High School). I passed my 11 plus, I was in the Higher Ability Academic program and I was awarded Student of the Year for Year 7. I have also been Captain of my Form, a Year 9 Ambassador and now in the Sixth form, I am a Careers Ambassador and a Mentor. I had success in my GCSEs, with 9 subjects graded 8 or 9 (A*)
I am a hard worker, I am well traveled both internationally and within the UK and I think I mix and communicate well with people of all ages.
I am very proud to have won the inaugural Mandy Monologue Competition for Young Talent, 2019.
