The college and the course are both brilliant, being in a college created solely for creative people, gives the college a fantastic buzz and plenty of opportunity for collaborations. Course: costume production and associated crafts, 2019
a fabulous industry based course which teaches both historical and modern techniques for the theater and film costume industry. Costumes are designed with their context in mind, looking at how the costume would be used by the performer and seen by the viewer. Performers costumes are designed and constructed from head to toe; including millinery techniques, costume pros and accessories, breaking down/aging to add realism. the use of modern techniques such as 3d printing, laser cutting, sublimation printing, dying are used in construction.
