About me
I have been working as an assistant technician for the Scottish Documentary Institute, in the Film department at the Edinburgh College of Art, as a post-production technician, where I gained my first feature film credit on the documentary, ‘Freedom Fields’. While working at SDI I continued to contribute to a number of fictional and non-fictional film and edited several music videos. I also gained valuable work experience on various productions such as the BBC’s ‘War and Peace’ and the 2018 film, ‘Wild Rose’.I moved to Scotland in 2013 where I graduated with an MA in Film Making from the Screen Academy of Scotland (SAS), where I specialized in Editing. The practical experience gained as SAS included a basic understanding of the entire post-production process in the creation of film and video. During my time with SAS I edited ten short films and contributed to a number of projects at the Edinburgh College of Art including carrying out some grading.
Prior to SAS I graduated with a BA in Film and Media from the University of Otago in New Zealand.
