About me
Since graduating college I have been an Media Artist (a journey that took me through University and beyond) working creatively with video, sound and performance. These have taken me from commissions and residencies in the UK and Europe, to developing audio works and sound designs for new media performance. There was a healthy spell or two living in Germany. Alongside my endeavours I started to work as an AV technician to pick up extra work in National galleries and performances spaces that covered touring shows as well as a regular clients in the North West.My experience in Artist AV and performance works eventually developed into Film and Cinema, where I was fortunate enough to be trained in Projection at the HOME MCR (the Former Cornerhouse). From doing 35mm and digital projection here, I expanded my opportunities to consultation and development of Artist moving image.
As the Industry changes towards automation, I am looking to build upon my skills in theatre and performances projects that require a creative perspective in the technical planning and realisation of audio visual performance and film.
I am a motivated and committed individual who works well in a team, who has experience of managing a technical team and still takes the opportunity to try out new projects that challenge me.
Additional skills:
Digital film projection, server management and installation. Pop up cinema and out door projection. Print film projection and installation (35mm, 16mm).
Artist moving Image and AV Installation works, consultation and project development of performance works for (non) theatre spaces.
Theatre Lighting control and rigging, Live Sound engineering.
