About me
I am a fun and creative person looking to pursue pre-production work in Theatre, TV and film. I am both a highly sociable and enthusiastic person who strives for new and exciting challenges. My academic skills and knowledge are fundamentally rooted in textiles and graphic design and since University have continued to broaden my appreciation of different artistic disciplines. At my first Wardrobe Assistant job at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, I channelled my artistic abilities into the role with great success and fulfilment, inspiring my decision to pursue further work in this discipline. Although I am keen to develop as a Wardrobe Assistant, over the recent months I have been working in the role of a Dresser and Wardrobe maintenance at some of Manchester renowned theatres. Working at the Opera House especially, has given me the opportunity to gain valuable expertise on large scale touring productions and to observe the contrasting ways of operative working within the Wardrobe department of each production so far.
