About me
Cameron Bryson is a director and cinematographer working out of the United Kingdom, Canada, and the U.S.A.Bryson has filmed such projects as the internationally renowned Amazon Prime series, The Family Man. His work on season 2 of the series has been recognised in countless reviews of the show. The Family Man Season 2 reached number 4 on imdb's most popular series list, and has won many awards.
Bryson studied film production in Rockport at the Maine Media Workshops before going to Sheridan College. He has worked professionally in the industry for ten years, shooting a range of content including feature films, shorts, music videos, commercials and branded content.
Bryson's acclaimed short documentary, The Self Practice inspired a national campaign for the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), which included multiple varying-length commercials and a print advertising campaign. The campaign profiled Canadian artists who were invited to paint private wealth clients of CIBC. The slogans: "Discover a financial portrait that captures the real you," and "Artist capture the real you. So do we," spoke to the personal investment this bank has in its clients. His work both as a director and cinematographer is fuelled by a personal passion for story telling and world-building through the combined use of visuals and language. As a photographer in his own time, Bryson is consistently inspired by the power of a single frame to tell a story. He believes in the connection between medium and message - one influences how the other is perceived - and is motivated by the multiple possibilities for meaning and the power to affect people on a personal level through the content he creates.
