About me
I studied film editing in Rome, Italy.I have comprehensive knowledge of editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro and the AVID Media Composer, Final Cut. In addition, I have basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
I attended the “Accademia di Cinema e Televisione Griffith” in Rome. As part of my training, I edited two short films, the first, a story between dream and reality called “Un’altra storia dove alla fine si scopre che è tutto un sogno”. The second, a story about a young wrestler who lives a life of regrets and it is about an encounter that will change his life forever, entitled “My Hero”. Working on these short films was fascinating, I particularly enjoyed editing the different sequences and working as part of a team.
After finishing the course at the Accademia, I worked in Florence for a year on three projects. In the first project, I edited a video called “TWENTY”, for the 20th anniversary of dance company. The combination of music, choreography and narration was a great challenge and an amazing experience. In the second project, I worked for the Florentine Associazione Culturale Culter (a cultural association) as an artistic director’s assistant and video editor for two projects called “Un Minuto Per Dante” and “All’Improvviso Dante, 100 canti per Firenze”. In addition, I edited backstage footage of “ Un Minuto per Dante”, an event involving young children and their relationship with poet Dante Alighieri.
