About me
My television career started as an intern in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at an NBC affiliate station called KDLT where I worked in the Creative Services Department shooting, writing and editing segments for a series called "Hometown" highlighting small communities in the area. I double majored in English/Creative Writing and Mass Communications/TV Production at the University of South Dakota. I moved to Los Angeles after college and got a job at Dick Clark Productions as a runner on various awards shows including the American Music Awards, CableAce Awards and the American Country Music Awards. From there I got a job as Executive Assistant to producers John Moffitt and Pat Lee at Moffitt-Lee Productions. We worked with several major comedians to produce HBO's One Night Stand series, Comic Relief and the Aspen Comedy Festival. We also worked with Bruce Nash of Nash Entertainment (several Spike TV series) and Michael Fleiss (creator of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette) on ABC's 25th Anniversary special and 50 Years of Soaps event special. After that, I worked at NBC Productions on a kids sitcom called "Hang Time" as the assistant to the head writer Ron Solomon and his team of writers. I declined an offer to work on "Saved By the Bell" as I had another opportunity that I felt would better suit me going forward. I moved on to Greystone Television and began segment producing and later line producing and managing teams on several hours of programs for various cable networks including A&E (Biography, Midnight in Savannah documentary, etc.), TNN (now Spike TV Life & Times series), The History Channel (Ancient Mysteries, Civil War series, Guns, etc). I left Los Angeles and moved to Denver and resumed my career at High Noon Entertainment as a Line Producer for several major cable series for Discovery, HGTV, The Food Network, DIY Network and Travel Channel. I am currently working on a new series for Discovery called, "Survive This".Referees:
