About me
It's been a round about journey as an artist to find the right medium for me....And the moving picture is it. As a lifelong skateboarder, musician, and cinephile I was exposed to a vibrant and varied artistic community. After high school I moved to Colorado to become a professional snowboarder, where I also learned more about cameras and composition. From there I moved to Los Angeles to further my dj and music career. While doing that I diligently and passionately studied acting and film for over 5 years while working as a PA, then branching out to other departments. After the writers strike in 2008, I left the industry and started managing a trade show business, which took me around the country giving me the opportunity to get back into photography, with time, money and interesting people and places to document on my side. While honing my skills and traveling the world, it became obvious to me, and luckily others, that the next logical move was into cinematography. Combining the skills and experiences I've acquired through my life with the ideas and stories I want to share, I've been 100% focused on becoming the best DP I can be. Slowly but surely it is all coming together and hopefully a few of you here will become a part of this journey with me!References:
