About me
I am a hard working, competitive and enthusiastic person that can lead but also follow instructions, whether working alone or in a successful team. I’m quick to learn and I will try anything that will help myself or my team to be as productive as possible. I believe that if you feel that strongly about something then it should be pursued with all that you are because Hell is not a place where you go when you die, but the failing of your life’s greatest ambitions.Skills

Highlights

My experience stems from projects combined with vocational experience. My course at Bath gave me the foundations while currently at Regent's is helping to expand my knowledge and push my boundaries. Aside from the classes, I am very enthusiastic about 'learning on the job' seeing as that is the best way that I learn. Pressure is a driving force rather than a hindrance in my case.
A few of the paid projects that I have completed are:
PRODUCTION ASSISTANT: A client who worked for a Barnardo’s Nursery who wanted to show young parents, with little or no cooking experience, just how fast and easy it is to make healthy food at a low cost for the family. This shoot did not go as smoothly as what we had hoped. It was spread over three days, two recipes the ?rst day, toddler reaction shoot the next and wrapping up on the third with the last two recipes. On the ?rst day, the ?rst two shoots went smoothly, however after re-shooting one of the snacks from the ?rst day, our chef could not handle various life pressures and walked out. We kept to the plan and still ?lmed the next day, keeping all the rushes; however no chef meant no third day. A few months later, the client and producer were able to hire another chef, this meant having to re-shoot all our previous footage, except for the toddler shoot.
PRODUCERS ASSISTANT: A company called ‘Web Usability Partnership (WUP) were creating a new website for themselves and for this they wanted a video to highlight their unique process, facilities and past clients. This was one of my ?rst jobs so I took on the role of Assistant Producer which entailed that I booked and checked kit, circulated updates to all that were involved on the shoot, took minutes and also digitised the tapes, as well as I started the initial edit.
CASUAL WEBSITE SUPPORT: During University I created some amateur, piece to camera videos. The videos are on Uni. life and range from money and time management, to work based learning and how to get on to higher education courses.
AUTO CUE OPERATOR/RUNNER: I have been in these roles a few times working alongside the Producer/Director Alan Graves on a number of different shoots.
