About me
During high school, I got my first video camera and my company, Small Crew Productions, was born. In the fall of 1998, I wrote, produced and directed my first film, a short titled A Snowy December. I spent years developing and continuing to create my own projects through Small Crew Productions, including feature films, music videos, documentaries and a television pilot.I attended college studying Digital Film & Television Production. After graduating in July 2004, I was ready to head out into the working world and begin gaining more experience in the industry. I started volunteering at Rogers Television in Durham Region in December 2005, where I had the opportunity to work all positions including ENG Operator/News Editor, Teleprompter, Studio Camera Operator, Floor Director and Live Eye Camera Operator. I was also given the opportunity to switch and direct for both live and pre-taped TV.
After spending 2 years at Rogers Television, I left to work on different projects and expand my knowledge. Over the years, I have worked with Bee Telefilms as a Grip on a feature film, Marwood Forest Productions as a Camera Operator on a short film, Helie Film Support as a Location Production Assistant on the ABC TV series, Happy Town, and the feature film, Dream House; Digital Samurai as a Production Assistant for Auto Show TV 2010; BizClip as a Videographer shooting commercials for local businesses; Camp Green Acres as a Videographer/Editor shooting the camp video year book; ThatChannel.com as a Tricaster Technician and Corus Entertainment as a Broadcast Production Content Operator.
I also taught Television Production at Trebas Institute since April 2011, spending 5yrs at the college.
I currently work at the OLG as a Draws assistant, setting up and operating the ball machines, operating the video switcher, editing the draw videos and posting them to the OLG website.
