About me
When I was finishing college I had the chance to start assisting my teacher (a well known and talented Peruvian Sound Mixer) on set as a Sound Utility. During a year I learned first hand the in and outs of sound on set, and I was thrilled.My grown in sound was interrupted when I left to persuit my directing dreams. I studied film Directing for a couple of years, then I worked a couple more towards the "Film Director" goal, taking me to write, produce, edit, direct and even be the DP of a bunch of projects (for clients and personal stuff too).
As fate would have it, my interest for sound grown bigger thanks to my brother, a music producer and post-production sound editor, who helped me change my mind and take a detour towards the "Location Sound Mixer" goal.
Neither to say that the directing dreams are still going. I keep writing, taking photos and directing only personal projects or ones that I'm really interested on.
Additional information:
As a Sound Mixer/Boom Operator I have experience working in narrative (short films and web series), documentary (mainly short format) and corporate. As Sound Utility I worked in feature films and advertising.
