About me
Adaptable director/editor with long-term working experience in both the Netherlands and Singapore, as well as on-location filming in various countries throughout Asia and Europe. Easy to work with, creative at solving issues, eager to rethink ideas and responsible in delivering projects on time and meeting the needs of clients. After winning awards for his short films, and completing National Service at the Police Academy Audio Visual Unit, Dzul Sungit moved from Singapore to Rotterdam, the Netherlands, where he stayed for another 12 years. During his stay, he edited and directed various works: music videos, commercials, documentaries and info-ed programs. He returned to Singapore in 2012 where he launched feature documentary I Hugged the Berlin Patient at Cathay cinemas. He has since reconnected with the local industry, producing VT’s, editing promos and directing dramas. His recent directing and editing project brought him to festivals around the world.
