About me
I've been creating Adverts, Fashion films, Music videos and Short films for 8 years. I live in Central London (W1h) I studied film at Central Saint Martins and was trained at Panavision to use pretty much every camera used in the professional world.I've created work for The BBC, C4, ARTe, English National Ballet, Style.com, Vans, Chanel, Agent Provocateur and a huge amount of freelance work. My experience has taught me to use most camera's from 16/35 mm Bolex/Arriflex/Panavision to the Arri Alexa and Reds. I own all my own kit including; Blackmagic URSA Mini 4k/4.6k, BlackMagic PCC, DJI gimbal, Steadicam, DJI drones and much more.

Edward Japp has worked with us on several productions.
We had been introduced to his directorial debuts through his music videos and his short movies for St Martins and we were immediately impressed by his strong point of view, the fludity of his camera moves, his sense of framing, his detailed editing, and last but not least his highly skilled technical abilities. All talents a good film maker/photographer requires.
As Director of Photography he shot the many videos of our project « Quais de scenes » Cité de la Musique, Paris and « Alain Planes l’infini turbulent » , a documentary Solrey directed about concert pianist Alain Planes, following the artist from Paris to Lyon and Mallorca.
The dedication, fiability, talent and team spirit he has shown are really special.

RECOMMENDATION FOR EDWARD JAPP
To Whom It May Concern:
Edward Japp served as a personal assistant and production intern for the transfer of my production of “Driving Miss Daisy” to London’s West End.
Although originally expected to last for 5 weeks, during pre-production, Edward’s performance was so strong, that he was asked to stay for the remaining 3 months of our run.
His duties were roughly divided into two parts: production related work and management related work. Edward had extensive exposure to the cast, production and theatre teams, each of whom found him to be reliable, eager, and excellent at follow through.
He was unusually adept at dealing with people unknown to him and quickly was able to forge relationships. In point of fact, both James Earl Jones and Vanessa Redgrave now know Edward by name and consider him a full part of our production family.
Edward seemed interested in every aspect of the theatre world. He participated in production, budget, and advertising meetings as well as attended rehearsals almost daily as well as all preview performances.
This experience seemed to be a maturing one for Edward, as it allowed him to function independently and be exposed to multiple aspects of the theatre industry.
