About me
I am an experienced Documentary Film Editor based in South West England. I have been in the industry for 8+ years working for experienced indie Producers on a wide range of Documentary Film & Television. My interest lies strongest in Human & Art Documentary's with an emotional or unique approach to storytelling.A recent standout has been editing Scala!!! - a riotous retelling of the history of London's most infamous cinema. I have also edited a number of aerial documentaries about The Great Wall of China, for which I was lucky enough to be on location for the shoot that spanned Northern China - capturing over 20 of the best Great Wall sections. Another meaningful project for me was reversioning My Autistic Big Brother & Me for BBC Wales, a hugely compelling and personal insight into a family's struggle to give their Autistic brother the best life possible.
I am also a proficient Cinematographer having shot many set piece interviews with high profile names including Sir Ian McKellen, Lee Mack, Miriam Margolyes & Alan Moore, as well as shooting lots of Ob-Doc actuality - primarily shooting on a Sony FS7.
