About me
Theatre professional:I am a highly motivated, creative person, with an interest in design, theatre, staging and events. I have developed as a designer and broadened my skill set through studying Interior Design at Manchester School of Art (Manchester Metropolitan University) and Art & Design at Bridgwater College, as well as other experiences listed below.
I have great organisational and time management skills, I am a good communicator and am confident when making decisions and working with others. I enjoy the collaborative process that comes with working in a team but am equally confident leading a group.
Over the past year I have worked for Decordia on festival sets, helping with the build, install and de rig. Whilst working in this industry I have further developed my skills and feel that these skills would help me to work within theatre. I have a particular interest in assisting in scenic design, scenic painting and prop making and would love to gain experience within these areas.
Additional skills:
I can use a range of hand tools.
Am able to both hand sew and use a sewing machine.
Can work at heights.
Can draw and paint.
