About me
Emma is an experienced shooting Director and Cinematographer working on all formats across drama, factual, documentary and commercial content. With over 16 years knowledge in the prep, production and post production aspects of shooting in studio and on location in the UK and overseas. Her clients include UK and international broadcasters and studios such as the BBC, Amazon, Netflix and Warner Brothers.She is a full member of The Guild of British Camera Technicians, BAFTA Crew and she is a member of the organisation Directors UK, under which her short documentary ‘Altruistic’ won runner up best short film in the 2018 Arri Doc Challenge.
An owner/operator of extensive lighting/camera kit, Emma is also accredited under the UK press card authority, and has both full public liability and hired in equipment insurance.
Her work in film has featured at several UK BAFTA qualifying film festivals and her project work in VR commended by the Creative XR programme. Selected as one of twenty to participate on prestigious 2017 Women in Film & TV mentoring scheme. She often appears on industry panels across the UK and enjoys Associate Lecturer work helping to inspire future generations into the screen industries.
