About me
Based in London, I've script supervising multiple shorts, promo’s, commercials and feature films.Although I have completed training courses with the NFTS. BFI and BAFTA I prefer on set training and learning from other script supervisors. I was mentored by Marnie Paxton (Woman in Black 2, Peaky Blinders, Misfits) and trained by Susie Jones (Wonder Woman 1984, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Rogue One, Spectre).
In terms of continuity, I take complete care of props, costume, hair, makeup, character positioning, actors lines, 180 rule and camera eye line. I am not afraid of actors adlibbing or spontaneous on set changes to the script. I’m used to working on my feet, keeping track and being extremely organised. I’m also keeping an eye out as to whether or not we have enough coverage in a scene. Having previous editorial experience, I know what shots a scene essentially needs to cut together while still keeping the pace/tone, and what cheats we can and can’t get away with in the edit.

Script Supervisor Mentor
“I was very impressed by her right from the start. She has an incredible work ethic and a sound knowledge of the filming process. Over the last year she has built up some valuable credits working in the capacity of an assistant and script supervisor on a number of different projects. She has honed her skill as a script supervisor and she has never been phased by anything that has been asked of her. She is incredibly bright and has learnt very quickly. She would be an asset to any production.”
Michelle Parkyn
Producer and Creative Director at Mop Media Ltd
“Gabi Wood has worked on three projects I have produced, and I have been nothing but impressed by her enthusiasm, professionalism and dedication to script supervising. She is our first choice when crewing for a script supervisor and has made herself an invaluable member of the crew. Gabi is very committed to the role and her methodical approach means she is on top of all script elements – even when the inevitable last minute changes occur on set. She is confident in her approach and deals with the directors extremely well, not to mention the cast and crew around her. She has a fantastic positive energy and is a pleasure to have on set. As a producer, having someone like Gabi who is very reliable, focused and committed to her work makes each project so much smoother. I look forward to seeing where her career takes her and have no hesitation in recommending her for future projects.”
