About me
I received a BA in Film Scoring and Music Composition at the Berklee College of Music and a Master of Music in Composition from Yale. I also graduated with honors from the Boston University School of Law and practiced as a derivatives attorney for several years before returning to my original passions for music and sound. Currently, live in Los Angeles, where I am an active film composer; post production audio engineer and sound designer. My experience includes over five years of work as a sound designer and audio engineer for the NBC Universal family of network televisions. Highligh Credits include Seven Pounds, Bravetown, Hands of Stone, The Duel, Satanas (orchestrator, conductor), Chamaco (additional music) and Escobar: Countdown to Death (Fusion TV) La Sombrilla (TNT Latin America), Losing Sam, Encuere, Notes From the New World and the award winning horror film Luna (composer). Gerardo’s music has been feature on multiple media and TV productions including original music for the Promax Awards and shows in Discovery Channel, HBO and MTV.Referees:
