About me
I currently work as an PA to a Senior Film/TV/Theatre Agent at David Higham’s Literary Agency I am responsible for day-to-day administration tasks, including invoicing, reviewing and drawing up contracts, managing diaries, booking meetings and organising travel. I also get to read scripts, provide notes to writers, pitch books to production companies and seek out projects for writers.I previously worked with the script development team at Carnival Films where I logged and tracked submissions, wrote script/book reports to tight deadlines and delivered development research on projects.
I also worked in production on high-profile entertainment shows such as Britain’s Got Talent and The Apprentice and BAFTA winning comedy drama Chewing Gum. These shows were fast-paced and logistically complex, so I gained a lot of experience of working to deadlines, being flexible to solve problems and working collaboratively as part of a team.
I have strong interpersonal skills, am practical, organised and highly efficient. I’m an avid reader and film/tv enthusiast with a good knowledge of the industry landscape. I am ambitious and looking for a new challenge. I feel I would learn a lot in this role, but I am a hard worker and would also contribute enormously.
