About me
Hugo started his artistic life taking piano lessons, at 5 years old, at the conservatoire in France. He continued his musical studies throughout the years. His cinematographic odyssey started in 2001, producing and starring in an experimental short film called "Nós", (directed by Fernando Rui and selected for Fantasporto 2001). The love for film has grown, and in 2002 he moved to New York, to attend the course "Acting for Film and Television", at the New York Film Academy. There, he made several short films as major and supporting roles, and in the meanwhile he studied in several workshops in Film, Theatre and Performance. Then, after some more years in Portugal, he decided to move to London. Hugo has been working in different areas such as features, shorts, theatre plays, commercials, and as a model for fashion shoots. An actor with a vast multicultural background, Hugo continues to pursue this challenging career. His latest role will in BBC serie, “The Musketeers”, season II.License & Passport
