About me
I started binge watching films made by Bollywood and Tollywood (South Indian Bollywood) since I was 12. Prior to this, I was aiming to be a commercial airline pilot. I talked to a few relatives who said it could be an expensive endeavor and I didn't listen - until later on in my life I found out the actual cost of learning to be a pilot, when I moved to New Zealand in October of 1996. I was also fascinated about audio and video technology and even today, I still am. After a disappointing two years spent at a university trying to do a degree in computer science, I found an ad for a six month course that introduced students to three areas of the entertainment business: Interactive Media, Video Production and Radio production. I then realized that Film and Television was my cup of tea and it made complete sense.Fast forward to 2013, I enrolled in Film School at the New York Film Academy and graduated in January 2016 in the bachelors program. I realized that my true calling as screenwriting and I recall that during the program, I enjoyed the writing process while others in my class moaned and groaned, and gave excuses for not completing assignments on top of that.

Additional information:
So much has been gained during my time at the New York Film Academy and I have learned quite a few lessons when I found myself living with three others. I learned that people will take advantage of you whether you know it or not, but not all are like that. There are still a few decent apples in the bunch and I understood that one bad apple doesn't ruin the entire bunch. I also realized that: as long as you are afraid, there's always going to be somebody to keep you afraid. I made a good friend in the process, but he is the type of guy who constantly complains a lot and has no sense of recognition when it comes to things that could potentially hurt him - be it financially or emotionally.
Professionally on the other hand, I've learned about what makes a quality film or television show and what separates that film or television show from an average, run of the mill, or a mediocre film or television show. Because of this, I've learned to better craft the stories that I am developing now.
