About me
In 2016 I graduated from the University of Brighton with a 2:1 in Moving Image BA (Hons). Whilst at University I started my freelance career as a filmmaker, cinematographer and editor for events and live shows. Since graduating I have immersed myself into the digital media, film and festival production industries. Within a few weeks of finishing my coursework I successfully gained a role as a production assistant on a mid budget UK film. The experience of working on the production team on a large film set has been invaluable for me. I then gained an internship with a company called Family Creative who create innovative digital content ranging from music videos, live events and advertising. My previous experience of working on the production side of things and as a freelance cinematographer enabled me to work on all aspects of digital content production, including as a producer, second shooter and editor.Additional information:
I am a very ambitious individual with a range of cultural, artistic and political interests. Working in different environments since a young age has enabled me to develop transferrable skills that grant me versatility to work in lots of different roles and workplaces. I would consider myself a logical person, with the ability to learn quickly but also be open to instruction as well as criticism when necessary. I also pride myself on my ability to build relationships with people, and communicate properly with colleagues and clients alike. I like to challenge myself to think creatively and come up with proposals for new ways to provide video content, whether through documentary or exciting visuals.
I am currently working as a freelance cinematographer, editor and producer on projects ranging from live music events, corporate events, festivals and advertising for small companies. I also run my own wedding video business in Suffolk, Norfolk and London.
