About me
A passionate and highly motivated film production graduate, specialising in Directing Fiction along side Editing at the Bournemouth Film School has rewarded me with a number of skill sets enabling me to develop a good understanding in multiple departments.Working from prep & pre-production, right the way through to post production. My role also working in an entry level position within a working production company has allowed me to develop skills needed to be an asset to any working company.
My burning passion lies in Writing and Directing, particularly within the world of narrative fiction, music video and commercial. I hope to enter the industry working in a place where I can learn and thrive from the people around me who are working within the world of film and continue to develop myself as a storyteller.
Since graduating in July 2016 I have been lucky enough to have productions that I have Directed and Co-Produced selected for multiple film festivals and win several awards such as recently picking up 4 Royal Television Society Awards including Best Drama Southern, Best Drama National and the special Judges Jury Award 2017. More recently I was successful in getting into BAFTA qualifying festivals such as BFI FLARE 2018, Norwich Film Festival 2018 and the IRIS PRIZE 2018 which my short film was nominated for Best British Film (short).
I have also worked in feature film and commercial under the job role of Production Assistant/ Key PA and most recently for 18 months for the corporate and commercials company The Progress Film Company as a Studio Assistant, Junior Editor and Camera Assistant.
Progress’ focus on commercial and corporate content has taught me so much but I have been left with the hunger to move London way and build my career there as I grew up in Brighton and feel branching out would be best rather than staying in my home town.
The thought of entering a company that has been the working cogs behind so many and inspiring films fills me with the desire to become a hardworking member of the team and bring my own skills and passionate mindset to be an asset to that very team.
